I come from a family of jewelers and artists. In our family jewelry is not just a profession but also the topic of dinner conversations and focus of vacations. The first piece of jewelry that I made was a pair of lily petal earrings which, I fabricated in the back of my parents jewelry store.

By the age of nine I was hammering every chance I got, driving out customers and employees alike. I found the rhythmic ring of the steel hammer enticing and have fallen under its spell for a lifetime. My work is the culmination of knowledge that I gained from my family and years of experience in the studio.
